Day 5: Easter Eggs

You might be thinking “Taylor, that is so clever that you’ve chosen Easter Eggs to be the subject of E Day!”

That’s funny because I was thinking the same thing. Even more funny because I’m about to go hide Easter eggs for a huge neighborhood egg hunt our church is hosting in the lovely East Hill area of Pensacola.

But these aren’t your normal plastic eggs with candy inside! No, these are the best Easter Eggs: hidden secrets in games and movies that you have to look diligently for, and when you find them you go “OH, OH, That’s AWESOME!” Or something to that effect.

I’m not gonna post a million pictures of different easter eggs, that would take too long. Instead, I’ll describe some that come to mind (and add a picture to one or two if necessary).

Star Wars Episode I:

• In the senate building of Coruscant, in one of the senator’s pods you can catch a glimpse of a few senators from the same planet E.T. is from.

Star Wars Episode II:

• In the speeder chase through Coruscant, you can make out two Tie Fighters chasing an X-Wing along the bottom of the city.

Star Wars Episode III:

• Near the beginning of the movie, as Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Palpatine are flying towards the senate building in a speeder after their….sigh…happy landing, you  can spot out the Millennium Falcon in the bottom corner flying towards the same building.
• When Anakin is joining Palpatine in the opera house you can spot Lucas himself dressed up as a fancy blue alien.
